1. How to Delete Your Account In-App (Recommended)
If you currently have the ClothMatics app installed on your Android device, you can permanently delete your account and all associated data immediately with zero waiting period:
Launch the ClothMatics app on your phone and tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.
Tap the Settings icon (⚙️) in the upper corner of your profile screen.
In the Settings menu, tap Privacy & Data to access your DPDP privacy controls and statutory options.
Scroll down to the Danger Zone at the bottom of the screen and tap Delete my account.
Read the permanent erasure summary and tap Permanently Delete My Account. Your sign-in credentials, wardrobe items, photos, and history are immediately purged.
Tip: Before deleting your account, you can tap "Export personal data" in the Privacy & Data screen to download a copy of all your wardrobe records in machine-readable JSON format.
2. Web Deletion Request (If App is Uninstalled or Inaccessible)
If you have uninstalled the ClothMatics app, no longer have access to your mobile device, or prefer to request deletion via the web, you have two options under Section 12(3) of the DPDP Act:
Option A: Direct Email Request (Web Fallback)
Send an email from the email address registered with your ClothMatics account to our privacy support desk:

Response Timeline: Your request will be reviewed and permanently processed by our administration team within 30 days.
Option B: Authenticated Web Deletion Form

3. Scope of Data: What is Deleted vs Retained
When an account deletion request is approved and processed by our administrator, ClothMatics permanently erases all user data:

4. Timelines & Administrative Processing
Submission: Once you submit an account deletion request (in-app or via our web form/email), your request is queued for administrative review.
Processing Window: Our administration team reviews and permanently deletes your authentication account, database documents, and uploaded images within 30 days.
